Hello All!

Early last week our very own Dr. Alana Holmes was on CBC Radio talking to host Markus Schwabe about a new research endeavor on which NOARC and the Regional Assessment and Resource Centre (RARC) at Queen’s University are collaborating.

Funded by the Mental Health Innovation Fund, the Successful Transition and Online Mentoring Program (STOMP) will provide the opportunity for grade 12 students suffering from mental health challenges and accepted into post-secondary schools to build their awareness of mental illnesses, develop self-advocacy skills and learning strategies best suited for post-secondary education, and educate themselves about the mental health supports offered at Ontario’s colleges and universities.

Check out the interview here.

Cheers,

Brandon
